E. Prof. (Dr., Alhaji, Prince, Chief) Muhammad Ayinla Omolaja-Obe, The Ikemba 1 of Africa, is a Professional Corporate Administrator, Management Consultant and Professor of Management and Administration at British American University (BAU), USA and India. He is a Visiting Professor of Management and Administration at International Popular University (Universita' Internazionale Popolare e Della Terza Eta) - U.P.T.E.A.G., at the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy. He is also a Visiting Professor of Strategic Management at the American University for Science and Technology (AUSTC), California, USA.   

Prof.(Dr.) Omolaja is a former Deputy Vice Chancellor at the Littoral University, Porto-Novo, Republic of Benin, and he was a Professor of Management Sciences at St. Thomas University, Nicaragua, Central America. He has previously taught at Ogun State Polytechnic (now Moshood Abiola Polytechnic), Abeokuta, from 1992 to 1995 and Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University), Ago-Iwoye, from 1995 to 2007 both in Nigeria.  Presently, Prof. (Dr.) Muhammad Omolaja is the Founder, President and Chairman of the Governing Council of British American University (BAU), Florida in USA and Delhi in India, where he lectures Management, Business Administration, Public Administration and Political Science courses among others (visit www.bau-edu.us). He is also the founder and President of International College of Management and Technology and Chairman/CEO of Fassil Company Limited in Nigeria. 

Prof. Muhammad Omolaja was born on 10th February 1960 at Ayetoro City, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria, to the Obe Royal family of Mallam and Mrs. Fasasi Ayinde Omolaja-Obe, Emado Quarters, Ayetoro City, Nigeria.  He attended U.N.A. Primary School, Erinpa-Ayetoro, from 1973 to 1978 for Primary Education, Ayetoro Community Grammar School (ACGS) from 1979 to 1984 for Secondary Education, and British Careers Training College, P. O. Box 253, Jersey, Britain for a Diploma Course in Modern Management which he finished with Distinction in 1985. Prof. Muhammad Omolaja attended Yaba College of Technology between 1985 and 1987 for a National Diploma Program in Statistics, which was terminated in the second year when he got admission into Ogun State University in 1987.  He attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, from 1987 to 1991 for Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Business Administration with Second Class Honors (Upper Division) and from 1996 to 1998 for Master of Public Administration (MPA) program which he finished with 4.33 out of 5.00 as the Best Graduating Student of MPA

Prof. Muhammad Omolaja also attended the Nigerian College of Administration, Lagos, where he was trained as a Professional Corporate Administrator certified by the ACIA qualification in December 2001 and became a Chartered Administrator. He attended Ogun State Polytechnic for a Professional Diploma Program in Computer Studies which he finished with Distinction and as the Best Graduating Student of the year. He got his Doctoral Fellow of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers, UK, in May 2009, and became a Member of the World Council and African Council of the Institute.

 A Chartered Accountant, Chartered Administrator, Computers and Information Specialist and Strategic Manager by inclination, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Administration, Nigerian Institute of Management, Nigerian Institute of Industrial Management, National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Nigerian Computer Society (formerly Computer Association of Nigeria), Institute of Management Consultants, Chartered Institute of Marketing (London) and International Sociological Association, Madrid in Spain. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Costs and Executive Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (Nigeria), Institute of Corporate Affairs Management and Academy of Corporate Management and Strategic Planning.

In the course of his many years of cognate work experience first as a Public Servant of Ogun State Government in the capacity of a Lecturer, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja has to his credit many academic publications on Management Sciences, Mathematics Information Management, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship and allied disciplines some of which are on the Internet for public consumption. Apart from being a Royal Prince from the Obey Royal family of Ayetoro City, Yewa North in Nigeria, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja has also received the Chieftaincy Title of Ikemba 1st (The Strength of the People) of Africa, Ado Kingdom, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria. He has also received local and international awards including but not limited to the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Forum for Interdisciplinary Research, India, Certificate of Recognition from National Human Rights and Humanitarian Federation, India and Academic Excellence Award from the International Academic Pole (Polo Accademico Internationale), Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy.

 As per administrative expertise and professionalism, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja, being an alumnus of many renowned Institutions, is a Corporate Administrator per excellence and particularly an exemplary educational administrator cum scholar of the world class distinction. Prof. Muhammad Omolaja has a career in University administration ranging over twenty years of visionary leadership as Programs Director, Deputy Vice Chancellor, University President and Chairman of University Governing Council. In all his administrative capacities, he has steered numerous institutions into the era of optimal advancement with available resources. He is the pioneer President of the International Council of Chartered Professors (ICCP) with the headquarters in Florida, USA, and chapters in many countries including Nigeria and India. His administrative model is guided by his unwavering belief in the spirit of non-discriminatory practices with futuristic progressions to confide the pace and direction of international development on the giant shoulders of people and culture of many countries. He excellently has managed multiple educational institutions coupled with organizational and public politics for years. This remarkable feat of inspiring multitasking speaks of his outstanding leadership qualities and professionalism.

Prof. Muhammad Omolaja’s unwavering commitment to scholarly pursuit, in the midst of his highly occupied administrative and political roles, can be measured by his publications in various local and international journals of repute in the field of management, administration, human resource management and industrial relations, organizational behavior, marketing, information management, and so on. However, these numbers do not measure the everyday innovations he makes as a chartered professional administrator. He is known to constantly guide the development team to produce logic for systems of management and administration that are largely unheard of. He does not believe in gate keeping any kind of progress or knowledge; hence, he has been sharing his ideas with the students and enthusiasts of the discipline through special presentations and lectures in the area of management and corporate governance.

Prof. Muhammad Omolaja has guided many students in the undergraduate, master and doctoral degrees, who have greatly benefitted from his academic and professional expertise. As a holder of Comrade Fellow of the Students’ Union (CFSU), he is revered by his old and new students for his belief in the constitutional values of democracy. He is known for inviting students to take charge of their educational life cycle at the Colleges, Polytechnics and Universities by taking active roles in various student bodies. He is also an enthusiastic speaker in the area of management, administration and practical usage of technological advancements for universities, for which he has been invited far and near to share his wisdom and motivate the new generation of higher education administration. Prof. Muhammad Omolaja’s contribution to higher education administration is unfathomable. Serving his role as the University President, he has contributed as an active motivator to the entire faculty members and general staff of the British American University family in USA, India, Pakistan, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Nigeria, Armenia, Uganda, and many other countries.

Prof. Muhammad Omolaja’s disposition demonstrates an impressive level of warmth and understanding. His careful listening and considerate replies to each person demonstrate his sincere concern for the welfare of everyone irrespective of where the person comes from. As a friend of the oppressed, he treats people of all nations and cultures equally without discrimination; his philosophy is based on fairness, equity, justice and freedom for all irrespective of differences in diversity! This kind of approach fosters rapport and trust among coworkers and constituents in addition to improving communication and interpersonal relationships. Finally, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja is well known to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere that promotes cooperation, collaboration and respect for one another by continuously exhibiting qualities like empathy and understanding among colleagues and associates at work and in the communities.

As par his political activism, Prof. Muhammad Omolaja was a member of the defunct Unity Party of Nigeria (UPN), Social Democratic Party (SDP), Alliance for Democracy (AD), All Nigerian Peoples Party (ANPP), and Democratic Peoples’ Alliance (DPA). He was also a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He is presently one of the National Leaders of the Action Alliance (AA). Prof. Muhammad Omolaja is the Founder and National Chairman of National Liberation Patriots (NLP) which is a proposed political Party with the name National Liberation Party (NLP) currently being processed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Nigeria. He has contested for Senate under the ANPP, contested for Senate under the DPA and contested for Federal House of Representatives under the PDP two times.

Prof. Muhammad Omolaja also contested for Governorship during the 2019 general election in Ogun State and for Presidency during the 2023 general election under the platform of Action Alliance (AA) in Nigeria. He was the National Provost of the President Muhammadu Buhari Continuity Network (PMBCN), which was registered under the Presidential Support Committee (PSC) through the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Political matters. He became the National Publicity Secretary of the political group after it was changed to Muhammadu Buhari Enduring Legacy Network. He is also the President of the Yoruba Elders’ Union (YEU) – a socio-cultural group of Yoruba Leaders at home and in Diaspora.
